Featuring Jessica Meyer, viola

The Wind Ensemble launches its season with a concert featuring violist and composer Jessica Meyer. Hailed as “fierce and lyrical” (The Strad), Meyer collaborates with the ensemble to present the world premiere of her new consortium arrangement of Go BIG or Go HOME. The multi-talented artist also joins the ensemble as a featured soloist for a stirring performance of I wake in the dark and remember, a viola concerto written by award-winning composer Joel Puckett ’99 (Bachelor of Music in Composition).
