Explore varied band and chamber work repertoire with a program spotlighting David Maslanka’s expressive and moving Traveler featuring guest conductor Shaun Evans, Shenandoah University’s new director of athletic bands. Other highlights include French composer Ida Gotkovsky’s monumental Poème Du Feu, and a special performance of Mike Mower’s Concerto for Flute and Wind Orchestra featuring one of Shenandoah Conservatory’s newest instrumental faculty members, Assistant Professor of Flute Julietta Curenton.
