Dancin’ Out
Dancin’ Out features the Shenandoah Dance Ensemble performing original works by faculty choreographers Tiffanie Carson and Daniel Padierna, as well as a re-staging of Batucada Fantástica, an electrifying work by Venezuelan choreographer Vicente Nebrada, staged by resident guest artists from Ballet Hispánico. The program features a range of dance styles from traditional to contemporary, including the vibrant Afro-Cuban rhythms and movements found in Batucada Fantástica.
Ballet Hispánico’s residency with the Dance Division is enabled by a gift from Marjorie Lewis.
