Written by Kit Wilder
Based on the 1844 Novel by Alexandre Dumas
Freely adapted from Alexandre Dumas’ swashbuckling masterpiece, Wilder’s lively retelling traces the young D’Artagnan’s coming of age under the watchful tutelage of Athos, Porthos and Aramis—the Three Musketeers. Together, this unlikely band of heroes battle the evil Cardinal Richelieu, the deadly Comte de Rochefort and the scheming Milady de Winter in defense of the French crown in 1628. A showcase for dozens of swordfights and other derring-do, the play features breathless intrigue, irresistible romance and a liberal dose of humor suitable for all ages.
