What types of nursing jobs have you had?
Pre and post surgery (cardiovascular, renal, GI) Head Nurse Ambulatory Unit and head nurse medical-surgical unit, pediatrics and OB_Gyn at army hospital, Oklahoma; psychiatric therapy 10 years VA hospital; 16 years part -time, PMHNP; taught 6 nursing programs primarily psych nursing undergraduate and graduate.
What advice would you give to Undergrad/ Grad students?
Study hard, play some, laugh lots, deeply care about family, friends, and patients under our care
What is your best memory at SU?
The 50th anniversary celebration of when the SU nursing program became a School and the Director became a Dean
What do you like to do in your free time?
travel, cook, bake, shop, going out to eat

Cat who runs our home and us

What is your favorite place you’ve lived or visited? Why?
Boston area I love; visit to Africa to see animals
Is there anything about yourself that others may not know, that you think would interest someone?
My husband and I walked with a lion in Africa and I rode on an elephant in Thailand near Bangkok
