Dr. Kidd has been a faculty member since 1998 and was appointed the Dean of the Bernard J. Dunn School of Pharmacy in January 2023.
Dr. Kidd is a two-time recipient American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) SU teacher of the year award and is a Fellow of the American Foundation for Pharmaceutical Education (AFPE).
His research interests are in the areas of pharmacokinetics and pharmacogenomics, and students are commonly involved in his research projects. He has authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, abstracts, and national presentations. Additionally, in response to the COVID pandemic, Dr. Kidd led the development and implementation of Shenandoah University’s SARS-CoV-2 pooled saliva surveillance testing program.
