Student Day of Action: Stand Up for Justice in Richmond

Are you ready to make your voice heard? Join the Office of Spiritual Life and the Center for Civic Engagement on January 30 and 31 in Richmond, Virginia, for an empowering two-day event at the state capitol with the Virginia Interfaith Center for Public Policy! All transportation, lodging, and meals are covered.

What to Expect While in Richmond:

  • January 30: A warm welcome reception, mocktail hour, and hands-on training to prepare for legislative meetings.
  • January 31: Meet with state legislators, attend impactful workshops on Virginia’s pressing issues, and connect with passionate advocates from across the state.

This is your chance to learn about government, make a difference, and advocate for policies that matter to thousands of Virginians. Whether you’re a first-time advocate or a seasoned organizer, this experience will equip you with the tools and inspiration to create meaningful change.
