Celebrate Douglas Day with a screening of an HBO documentary inspired by David Blight’s Pulitzer Prize-winning biography about Frederick Douglass on Feb. 14 in Stimpson Auditorium, Halpin-Harrison Hall. Actors Nicole Beharie, Colman Domingo, Jonathan Majors, Denzel Whitaker, and Jeffrey Wright draw from five of Douglass’ legendary speeches to represent different moments in the tumultuous history of 19th-century America.
