Dashain and Diwali, known as Tihar in Nepali, are two of Nepal’s most important Hindu festivals. Dashain symbolizes the victory of good over evil and is marked by family gatherings, blessings, and special rituals. Tihar and Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights, celebrate the bond between humans, animals, and nature, with vibrant lights, flowers, and traditional songs. Both festivals are a time of joy, togetherness, and cultural pride.
