It’s spooky season and Halloween is almost here. While many celebrate the holiday by being spooked while trying to escape a haunted house, for some the night can become one of fear as they try to escape lewd comments, sexual harassment, and grabbing hands. A holiday is not a free pass for disrespecting others and not asking for consent. Giving consent is not spooky – it’s necessary.
