Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) Workshop

Faculty are encouraged to sign up for a Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) workshop that will walk participants through the basics of COIL as well as the creation of joint projects between faculty from different countries. Faculty design the module together and have students work on their project virtually through several weeks of the semester. COIL allows students to have an international experience without requiring travel and encourages them to consider studying abroad and attending faculty-led trips. Further, it encourages them to work on the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals and prepares them to enter the workforce. 

This workshop will take place each Thursday from Oct. 10, through Nov. 7, from 9-10 a.m. on Zoom. Sign up by Sept. 4 using this Google Form. Questions? Contact Younus Mirza at ymirza@su.edu.
