RAD Classes & Narcan Training

The Department of Campus Safety offers Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) classes as well as Narcan training.

RAD classes are 9 hours and offered at no cost to students, faculty, and staff. For more information about RAD classes, email Vanessa Sibert at vsibert@su.edu.

Narcan training is 1-2 hours and offered at no cost to students, faculty, and staff. For more information about Narcan training, email Shannon Zilke at fij732@su.edu.

Missing Person Registry

The United States Congress has directed Colleges and Universities to develop procedures to handle reports of missing students. The intent is to minimize delays and confusion during a missing person investigation. In keeping with the new federal regulations and to improve the general safety and welfare of the Shenandoah University student body, all students of the university are urged to provide any and all names and contact information of those individuals they authorize to be contacted if the student has been declared missing. Information provided will be registered confidentially and will be accessible only to authorized officials in the event of an investigation.
