Adjunct Assistant Professor Sally Anderson, B.Ed., directed “Dancing at Lughnasa” by Brian Friel at Winchester Little Theatre in May. Costume Designer and Associate Professor of Costume Design Jennifer Flitton Adams, M.F.A., designed the costumes for the play. Trish Epperson ‘11 plays Christina Mundy in the production, which ran May 6 through 21.
Kirsten Trump, M.F.A., was promoted from associate professor of theatre to full professor. She also coached a Chicago dialect for “Superior Donuts” at the Maryland Ensemble Theatre in Frederick, Maryland and Irish dialects for world premiere of the Ronan Noone play, “The Second Girl” at the Contemporary American Theater Festival in Shepherdstown, West Virginia.
Director of Performing Arts Leadership and Management Program and Associate Professor of Arts Management David Edelman, M.F.A., and Director of Shenandoah Conservatory Arts Academy and Adjunct Assistant Professor of Arts Management Jennifer Green-Flint, D.Prof., presented at the 35th annual conference of the Association of Arts Administration Educators in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on June 3. They shared their research on recent neurological studies and the relationship to leadership training of performing artists.
