Harry F. Byrd, Jr. School of Business students Brittany Norling and Silas Pace, along with Assistant Professor of Information Systems and Computing Technology Michael Magro, Ph.D., met with data analytics engineers from American International Group (AIG) a property and casualty insurance company, on Dec. 4 for a visioning session concerning the School of Business’ academic data.
AIG is partnering with Byrd School faculty and students to bring dynamic data analytics into its business programs. The end result of the project will be a fully functional data dashboard that allows academic and administrative leaders to better understand key performance indicators related to the success of students and the school’s program offerings.
