PALM Students Explore Arts Leadership During GEL Trip to Greece

In July, seven students in the Performing Arts Leadership & Management program traveled to Greece for a Global Experiential Learning (GEL) trip with Director and Professor of Performing Arts Leadership & Management David Edelman, M.F.A., and Adjunct Assistant Professor of Performing Arts Leadership & Management Christine Stanley, M.F.A. Highlights of the trip included seeing a performance of a Sophocles satyr play in the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus, meeting with the cultural attaché of the American embassy and a day trip to the island of Aegina.

“Students agreed it was the trip of a lifetime,” said Edelman. “Additionally, our safety protocols paid off in spades with everyone testing COVID-19 negative before flying home.”
