The Nurse-Midwifery Certificate is designed to provide the student with the necessary skills and knowledge to assume the role of a certified nurse-midwife in a variety of clinical settings pertinent to nurse-midwifery care.
The certificate is designed to provide the psychiatric clinical nurse specialist with the necessary knowledge and skills regarding differential diagnosis, health promotion, and psychotropic medication management (prescriptive authority) fundamental to the role of Psychiatric Mental-Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
A Doctor of Nursing Practice (BSN-DNP or Post-Master's DNP) prepares the nurse with the necessary skills and knowledge to assume the role of a primary health care provider in a variety of settings. Doctor of Nursing Practice graduates are educated to become leaders in the healthcare arena and prepared to deliver quality primary healthcare.
