School of Health Professions

The School of Health Professions relies on the deep experiences of a future-focused faculty and hands-on experiences in clinical rotations. The school includes six divisions: athletic training, nursing, respiratory care, occupational therapy, physical therapy and physician assistant studies.

Athletic Training meets Physical Therapy: Doctor of Physical Therapy/Master of Science in Athletic Training

For students who wish to become members in both professions, this is an opportunity to become a sports medicine expert clinician.

As an Occupational Therapy graduate student, Sarah was able to do her field work in Ireland. There she had an opportunity to study differences in Irish versus American health care systems - and do some personal research on her family geneology. She specialized in geriatric health care at the Psychiatry of Later Life facility.
