– Jane Austen’s “Pride and Prejudice” comes to life on Main Stage Theatre in Jon Jory’s fast-paced adaptation of the classic novel.     


Junior Music Production and Recording Technology (MPRT) student Courtney Roebuck recently had her article entitled “Percussion In The Dark: Nothing A Couple Of LEDs Can’t Fix” published on ProsoundWeb.com.

Senior musical theatre major Matt DeLorenzo, who performed the role of Candy Darling in the new musical, “Pop!” at the Studio Theatre in Washington D.C. this past summer, has been nominated for a Helen Hayes Award.    


Shenandoah Conservatory’s Dance Series will perform The Spring Dance Concert on Friday, March 30 at 8 p.m., Saturday, March 31 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, April 1 at 2:30 p.m.    


Shenandoah Conservatory faculty members will kick off the “Conservatory in the Community” Concert Series at the Winchester Medical Center on Friday, Feb. 24.    


In his new role, Baylock, considered one of the best young jazz composers in the country, returns to his Alma mater Shenandoah University. Baylock is also the Chief Arranger for the renowned “Airmen of Note” jazz ensemble in Washington, D.C.    


Agents from Busch Gardens Theme Park seek fresh talent and new acts from among Shennadoah Conservatory's student population.     


Sloan MacRae will be managing director for Shenandoah Conservatory and director of Performing Arts Live concert series.

Shenandoah Conservatory’s Distinguished Artist-In-Residence John O’Conor joins forces with the Shenandoah Conservatory Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Jan Wagner, in a performance of Grieg’s well-known “Piano Concerto.”    


University President Tracy Fitzsimmons and Conservatory Dean Michael Stepniak outlined the effort to a group of faculty, students and donors, who gathered at a public unveiling of a fleet of Steinway pianos.
