Shenandoah University will move its 16-month, every-other-weekend MBA program —previously offered at its Northern Virginia Campus in Winchester — to its main campus in Winchester, effective for the fall 2009 semester. The fast-track MBA program will run in tandem with the 24-month evening MBA program already offered.

“Today, all business is global, and our MBA program emphasizes the global nature of the organizational environment,”said Dean Randy Boxx. “The weekend MBA program allows students, many of whom are working adults with families, to complete their degree, every-other-weekend in just 16 months.”

“Today, all business is global, and our MBA program emphasizes the global nature of the organizational environment,”said Dean Randy Boxx. “The weekend MBA program allows students, many of whom are working adults with families, to complete their degree, every-other-weekend in just 16 months.”

The MBA degree program at Shenandoah University provides students with the skills and competencies critical in today’s organizations –a global perspective, communication proficiency, and knowledge across business disciplines, leadership and teamwork skills, strategic thinking, and informed, ethical decision making. The program is premised on the notion that education is “value added”for both the individuals who are pursuing the degree as well as for organizations that support them in their quest for higher education.

Students bring knowledge and experience from their own work environment to bear on the educational process, and graduates learn to increase their skills in identifying problems and implementing solutions, either individually or as creative members of business teams.
