Shenandoah University's award-winning campus newspaper is written by a dedicated staff of student reporters, who represent many majors. They cover all aspects of campus news and student life. All students who love to write, who want to be active in the campus community and who want to improve their writing skills are welcome to be members of the newspaper staff. The SUN office is located on the ground floor of the Wilkins Administration Building, overlooking the big SU. The SUN is published weekly throughout the academic year, except during breaks. Since 1999, student writers have been honored with journalism awards from the Virginia Press Association, the Society for Collegiate Journalists, the Columbia Scholastic Press Association and the American Scholastic Press Association.
