Alumni Awards

The Shenandoah University Distinguished Alumni Awards are honors bestowed by Shenandoah University and the Shenandoah University Alumni Association. These awards have been established to recognize and honor alumni who have distinguished themselves and their alma mater. The awards include both the Outstanding Alumni Award and the Young Career Achievement Award.

Once a year, at an annual Homecoming Weekend luncheon, Shenandoah University honors these distinguished alumni selected based on their professional accomplishments, services to others, and the University.

The Shenandoah University Alumni Association invites nominations for candidates for the Distinguished Alumni Awards.

Nominations may be submitted by filling out the nomination form, available on the SU alumni online community, or by contacting the alumni office. Selections are made by the Awards Committe of the Alumni Association Board of Directors.
