Project Hope Senior Fellow Gail Wilensky, a leading figure in healthcare policy making, will share her perspectives on healthcare reform on Monday, Nov. 30, at 7:30 p.m. in Halpin-Harrison Hall’s Stimpson Auditorium on the main campus of Shenandoah University in Winchester. The event is free and open to the public.

Her presentation, “What Health Care Reform Will Mean for You,”is sponsored by Valley Health, local business professionals and Shenandoah University’s Harry F. Byrd, Jr. School of Business.

Wilensky, a senior fellow at Project HOPE, is the former administrator of the Health Care Financing Administration, directing the Medicare and Medicaid programs. She chaired the Medicare Payment Advisory Commission, and later, the Physician Payment Review Commission. A member of the Institute of Medicine, she earned her Ph.D. in economics at the University of Michigan.
